As the sun receded in the sky, we reached toward it, grasping at the last of the glorious rays. The last of its warmth, its light its hue. A life without the sun would be short. But the curse Bobby had set in motion when he uncorked that bottle, had been set in place. There was no changing it. No changing it without a complete overall of Human nature. The Nature that was no longer human. Over the course of a decade, the quality of being human had deteriorated in the most despicable of ways. the taste for everything other than human connection had not satiated a palate that was ravenous, and threatening to devour the very essence of man itself.

And then, with a single tear,There emerged a sliver of hope, a sliver of redemption. With the Orb of gold now half way gone, there were heaves, and sighs. Tears and tears; and as the tears fell, the valley begin to fill, rising in a salty sea of remorse. And there were apologies, fears realized and released and the more tears that fell the higher their bodies rose, floating on an ocean of mercy, an ocean of the glorious power of forgiveness. Among men, between God and Man. And in that acknowledgement there was a return to love. Pure, and Real, and we were filled; with the sun of suns; the Glory of unity, of oneness. We were seeds afloat, with more promise of sprouting anew, than Eve ever had the potential to birth. And So it was.

We never expected it to be like this. We thought only a handful of people would bother to turn up. There is not enough security in place to manage a crowd of this size. We don't have enough seating. The toilets are going to be inadequate. What about drinking water? Or food? Someone's head will be on the chopping block over this. I just hope it's not me.

A sea of people. The sound of the throng like the roar of the ocean. I'm close enough to smell the saltiness of sweaty bodies. It's high tide in the stadium, as we share in this community we call humanity. The wave circles around us, as group by group we raise our fingers toward the sky in a ripple. Soon we will leave this place to return to our small ponds, the wave ebbing away.

“Bravo my friends Bravo! You are on the right way-I mean
On the road! I know you have been kicked out by your
Company. It happens! But give thanks to your ex-Managing
Body for using such nice-nice words of apology. No- no,
They are not sorry for their culpability. They just merely
Apologize. Isn’t that enough? After all they are great
Business people- you know? You should also be thankful
To them for giving you termination letters nicely typed
On costly glossy papers.
Don’t blame them. They are innocent people.
In fact they are suffering with different types of
Depressions! Now a days they are suffering with global
Trade depression! They have to follow the custom –as
Others do! So cool down and don’t be panicky. As they
Mentioned in your letters- they didn’t have any
Alternative. And how dare you can say to cut down their
Luxurious expenses? Who the hell you are? You are simple
Workers. And workers have no choice! ( I don’t want to
Use ‘that’ cheap word for you!) Who spoke from that
Corner? Listen my friend! You are not an earning partner
Of the company. You are just a cog of the wheel. They
Want to keep running their factories. And their factories
Run on such cogwheels. If a cog doesn’t work properly
They can change the wheel. They have right to change.
In this crisis they want cheaper cogwheels. And they think
-you are getting handsome salaries. So you all are fired!
And don’t ever expect for increasing in the salaries.
Keep waiting for negotiations. Be positive. Otherwise
There are many cheaper cogwheels ready to replace you.
So unite my comrades! You are going to lose nothig-
but a portion of your salaries!"

Imagine all the people
waving in time to the music
at Paul McCartney's concert in the park.
It's standing room only
at $100 (minimum) a head.
For those in the first row
who had stood in line hours and hours before
to have a chance to fingertip touch the celeb
on stage
and maybe smell his cologne
the thrill is even greater.
Never mind the hot sunlight of afternoon,
Never mind the lack of seats and hours of standing,
The exhiliarating feeling of the masses of people
in that park together
on that afternoon
swaying to the music blaring triumphantly by the live band
finetuned and broadcast over the speakers
was over too soon.

It was worth it all.

Sorry I missed it.
